Feeling the Dream:
Exercising in Jeans

Directed and Produced
by Madison Pope
Written by Madison Pope,
Morgan Pope, and Sadi Rogers

From the Filmmaker: The documenting of a sport as serious as exercising in jeans is exhausting and sometimes hauntingly poignant, but I have found a great sense of satisfaction bringing the issue towards the public consciousness. It's my way of giving back a small part of what these great athletes have given me through their example, kindness, and stretching. Have you ever wanted to release the champion within you? My name is Madison Pope, and this is my film.

Friday and Love

Directed, produced,
and written by Ben Zurcher

From the Filmmaker: Ben Zurcher is originally from Providence and has worked as a videographer in Cache Valley for several years. He is currently attending Utah State University with a major in marketing. He enjoys writing, making videos, and playing music. While on his mission, he discovered that one of his companions went to the same ward as Steve Young.

Open Umbrella: A Rockband Documentary

Directed, produced, and written
by Leon Hall, Sarah Hall,
and TaSheena Bodily

From the filmmaker: Open Umbrella is a movie about a Mumbai teenage boy who grows up in the slums and becomes a contestant on the Indian version of "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?" He's arrested under suspicion of cheating, and while being interrogated, events from his life history are shown, explaining why he knows all the answers. No wait . . . that's a different movie . . . Open Umbrella is just another one of those movies about musical passion, calligraphy, and a band's somewhat mediocre quest for fame.

This award was compiled as a combination of the three previous awards. The Judges Choice Award was worth 50% of the total score, while the Voter's Choice and the Highest Hits were 25% each. It was entirely possible that one film could have swept the awards.
