This is the third year Leslie Aldridge joins Old Lyric Repertory Company. She recently graduated with a master's of fine arts in costume design at Utah State University, where she designed a production of Assassins. She was also the costume designer for OLRC’s production of And Then They Came for Me. Some of her favorite roles include Constance in The Madwoman of Chaillot and Rosencrantz in Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead, both produced by Utah State Theatre. She loves to draw in her free time and despite having really cold hands, she shook Ian McKellan’s hand at the premiere of Lord of the Rings: Return of the King in London, England. She has the distinct honor of being both an American and British citizen.

This is Casey T. Allen's first year with OLRC. By day, Casey works as the registrar at the Nora Eccles Harrison Museum of Art in the Caine School of the Arts at Utah State University. He has worked in Orlando, Florida, as a character performer for Walt Disney World Resort, and as Harry Houdini in Cache Regional Theatre Company's production of Ragtime. He recently earned his degree in English from Utah State with a professional technical writing emphasis.

Director - You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown

Kris is happy to be returning for her fourteenth season as the Old Lyric Repertory Company Stage Manager. She is also happy to be directing again after her last show, Route 66, in 2006. In 2007 she hit her fiftieth Lyric Production and is hoping she has at least fifty more in her. An Actors Equity Association (AEA) stage manager, she received both her bachelor's and master's of fine arts from Utah State University, where she occasionally teaches and mentors stage managers. She is currently the Production Manager for the Caine School of the Arts at Utah State as well as co-producer of Smoke Productions. Kris works with many community groups and enjoys being involved in nearly every art event in Cache Valley, including the newly developed Fusion Theatre Project. Most recently she stage-managed the Egyptian Theatre’s production of Cabaret. Kris planned on taking a year off to focus on her health, but the magic of theatre keeps pulling her back!! In her spare time she likes to play with her puppy, Mr. Staypuff, and, at least for this year, she likes to sleep more than almost anything. She would like to thank all of her friends and family for their constant support and help through this most difficult year of her life.

Luke Bybee is a Logan native and is really excited to be joining the Old Lyric Repertory Company for his third year. He loves Cache Valley in the summer, especially after another long Cache Valley winter. His latest roles include Scrooge in A Christmas Carol, directed by Colin Johnson, and St. George in St. George and the Reluctant Dragon, directed by Vosco Call. He feels honored to be able to play the parts he was given this last year and looks forward to continuing to act and create with a great group of people this summer.

This is Aubrey Campbell's first summer with Lyric, and she couldn't be more thrilled to be working with such a talented cast and crew. Aubrey is a senior at Utah State University and will graduate in the fall with her bachelor's of fine arts in performance. She has been performing since the age of 3 either through dancing, singing, or acting. Being on stage makes her come to life! Some of her favorite roles include Sara Jane Moore in Assassins, Shelby in Steel Magnolias, and Lottie Molloy in The Murder Room. She couldn't have asked for a more perfect season to be a part of, and can't believe she has the chance to play three of her dream roles. When not performing, Aubrey loves to cook, garden, read, and play. She's definitely a little girl at heart. She would like to thank her beautiful family for all their love and support, they are her everything. Much love to her little Klaud, you're my hero! Look mom, I'm still reaching!

Lady Bracknell - The Importance of Being Earnest

Lee is thrilled to be back for his 13th season with OLRC. He was last seen on the Caine Lyric Theatre stage in Cash on Delivery, Picnic, and The Spitfire Grill. Lee earned a bachelor's of fine arts from Utah State University and a master's of fine arts from California State University, Fullerton in performance. Last summer he was featured in Utah Festival Opera Company's production of Into the Woods as the Baker, as well as 1776, Gypsy, and Manon Lescaut. He most recently directed The Madwoman of Chaillot for Utah State Theatre. Past roles on Lee's favorites list include Lend Me a Tenor, Forever Plaid, and Enchanted April. He would like to thank his family and friends for their love and support.

Set Designer - An Inspector Calls
Shawn is an associate professor and assistant department head for the Department of Theatre at Utah State University. His professional work includes the New York productions of Seal Sings Its Song, Cop Out, and The Talking Dog at the Gene Frankel Theatre as well as productions at the Utah Festival Opera Company, Berkes Grand Opera, and West Chester Shakespeare in the Park. In 2008 Shawn won an Edwina Award for his set design of Cabaret at the Egyptian Theatre Company in Park City. His university designs include Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead, King Lear, Uncle Vanya, Picasso at the Lapin Agile, the Beaux Strategem, and Comedy of Errors. Shawn's designs have been displayed at the Lincoln Center in New York and twice at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C., including the 2001 production of The Laramie Project. In 1993, Shawn co-founded the Public Theatre Company near Philadelphia where he served a various times as producer, director, designer, and playwright. One of his current endeavors is The Fusion Theatre Project, a company that utilizes unique collaborations in creating original, progressive theatre. In 2006 his original script SCOPE was invited for participation in The Kennedy Center's Advanced Playwriting Intensive in Washington, D.C. and was produced in 2007 by The Fusion Theatre Project. Shawn was recently awarded a great from the Marie Eccles Caine Foundation for the company's next project, Do Not Hit Golf Balls Into Mexico, which will premiere April 2010.

A Cache Valley native, Kent returns for his eight season with the Old Lyric Repertory Company. Previous productions include One for the Pot, Moon over Buffalo, The Hollow, Arsenic and Old Lace, Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, Noises Off!, Postmortem, and Relative Values. After high school and acting in several shows for Utah State University, Kent spent a summer in upstate New York with the Chautauqua Conservatory Theater Company under the direction of Rebecca Guy and Michael Kahn. He then attended University of Utah where he graduated with a bachelor's of fine arts in acting. He also interned with Pioneer Theater Company for their productions of Hamlet, You Can't Take It With You and A Flea in Her Ear. Kent also appeared in their premiere production of The Three Musketeers. Kent has performed in numerous productions on stages from the Babcock Theatre to Pickleville Playhouse, playing major roles in plays ranging from The Misanthrope and The Glass Menagerie to Tons of Money and Greater Tuna. Last summer he appeared as Caesar Rodney in 1776 and Cinderella's father in Into the Woods for Utah Festival Opera Company.

Costume Designer - The Importance of Being Earnest
Born in a Studebaker in San Mateo, California, Nancy has worked in theatres all over the United States. Her favorite designs as a faculty member at Utah State University include Les Liaisons Dangereuses, Good Night Desdemona, Good Morning Juliet, Pride and Prejudice, Cabaret, To Kill a Mockingbird, A Little Night Music, The Miser, Enchanted April, and Jacques Brel is Alive and Well and Living in Paris. Her designs for The Miser were displayed at the International Prague Quadrennial held in the Czech Republic in 1999, along with her collaborate work with Bruce Duerden and Dennis Hassan on Les Liasons Dangereuses in 2003. Nancy spent a year on sabbatical in the Northwest, designing Beauty and the Beast at the Northwest Children's Theatre in Oregon and Hamlet for the Calaveras Repertory Theatre in California. Nancy received the 2005 Kennedy Center/American College Theatre Festival's Faculty Fellowship. Most recently, she designed costumes for the Egyptian Theatre's Music Man and Utah State Theatre's The Madwoman of Chaillot. She is the mother of twin boys, Douglas and Tristan.

An OLRC regular, Andy was last spotted on the Caine Lyric Theatre stage last season, where he appeared as Player in The Dresser and Archie in Chaps! He also appeared as a street singer Utah State Theatre's 2009 production of The Madwoman of Chaillot. Past roles have included Anthony Marston in 10 Little Indians, Hannibal in The Curious Savage, and Barney in OLRC's production of Member of the Wedding. He worked for the Cache Valley Center for the Arts and Utah Festival Opera Company. He enjoys mountain biking, hiking in Logan Canyon, and strumming his guitar. He would like to thank his family for their love and support.
Colin Johnson Colin Johnson

Director - An Inspector Calls
A native of San Jose, California, and graduate of the state university there, Colin has been a Utah State University faculty member for three and a half decades and recently stepped down as head of the Theatre Arts department after serving 12 years. He earned his master's of fine arts and doctoral degrees from UCLA and teaches theatre history, dramatic literature, and performance theory; he also taught film for many years. He has directed 50 productions for Utah State Theatre and the OLRC and supervised dozens of others. He was the coordinator for the graduate program for 25 years, and his former students fill many college theatre positions throughout the state. During more than two dozen OLRC seasons, he has also served as both its technical and managing director. Some of his favorite productions include Diamond Studs, . . . And a Nightingale Sang, Blood Brothers, and The Boys Next Door. For Utah State Theatre some of his most recent productions were last season’s Charles Dickens’s Christmas Carol, the musical Urinetown, Tartuffe, and Holes. This coming year he will direct the Tennessee Williams classic Glass Menagerie. When not on the job, he enjoys hiking, especially in Yosemite National Park, and visiting his son and daughter’s families with new grandchildren in Philadelphia and Chicago, respectively. This summer he will travel as often as possible to Cedar City as his wife Julia is costume crafts supervisor for the Utah Shakespearean Festival. Colin wishes to thank all those who supported the OLRC during his tenure as director.

This is Jarrod's ninth summer working with OLRC. Jarrod lives in Logan with his wife, Keri, and has been designing theatrical lighting and sound through the area for more than ten years. He works during the day as the director of Caine School of the Arts Production Services at Utah State University (http://caineschool.usu.edu/). In his free time he enjoys reading, writing, puttering around the yard, and hanging out with his sTweetie, family, work buddies, and the rest of the gang.

This is Keri's ninth season with OLRC. Past Caine Lyric performances include Beau Jest, Deathtrap, Enchanted April, You Can't Take It With You, Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, and Cash on Delivery. She holds a bachelor's in Theatre Arts from California State University – San Bernardino and a master's of fine arts in acting from CSU – Fullerton. Keri has been the ticket office manager at the Ellen Eccles Theatre for more than six years and lives in Logan with her husband, Jarrod, and their dittywoos. Special thanks and love to the inlaws and outlaws. Miss you, Dad Larsen.
Lynda Linford Lynda Linford

This is Lynda's 21st season with the OLRC since her first appearance, where she played Lady India in "Ring Round the Moon" and Beatrice in Servant of Two Masters. Lynda teaches acting at Utah State University and has performed in Utah State Theatre productions of Macbeth and Hamlet. She has staged numerous productions for OLRC, including Private Lives, The Miser, Enchanted April,Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, and Beau Jest. In years past, she played Belinda in Noises Off! and Chris in Rumors. Most recently, Lynda directed Doubt and an original work, The Café Plays: Bluebirds (about, and at, Logan's Bluebird Restaurant). In Kelmarsh, England, she produced and directed Hayfever last summer; in August 2009 Lynda will return for a seventh season with Blithe Spirit. Lynda received her master's of fine arts in performance from the University of Minnesota and has trained at the HB Studio in NYC. Lynda is a Fellow of the Kennedy Center / American College Theatre Festival, where two of her plays, The Boy Who Drew Cats, an original adaptation, and Anna in the Tropics, have won national honors. In 1994, Lynda's production of A Piece of My Heart was awarded a Congressional medal by the Viet Nam Coalition. Lynda is a member of AEA and SAG.

After far too long an absence, Phillip R. Lowe is thrilled to return to Cache Valley and rejoin the Lyric family for his sixth season on the beautiful Lyric stage! Audiences may remember him as Smudge in Forever Plaid, Inspector Kurland in Song of Singapore, Norman in The Boys Next Door, Anthony Wilding in Enchanted April, and John Cristow in Agatha Christie’s The Hollow. Phil graduated from Utah State University in 2002 with a master's in fine arts in theatrical design. That same year he was also the recipient of the Kennedy Center’s National Barbizon Award for his costume design of the OLRC’s production of The Lion in Winter.

Phil then spent time in England studying period costume and architecture while playing the role of Mr. Darcy in a production of Pride and Prejudice at the historic Cottesbrooke Hall. Since returning to the States, Phil has designed for a number of theatre companies including The Grand Theatre, Plan-B Theatre Company, Utah Musical Theatre, Lagoon Entertainment, Utah Contemporary Theatre, Salt Lake Acting Company, Old Lyric Repertory Company, Weber State University, and Park City’s Egyptian Theatre, where he has served as costume designer in residence since 2005. In addition to his design work, Phil continues to find time to appear on stage. He was featured in a production of La Cage aux Folles as well as the regional premier of Irving Berlin’s: White Christmas at the Egyptian Theatre Company, and played Juan in last summer’s Utah premier of the Off-Broadway smash hit Altar Boyz. Other regional credits include Evita at Pioneer Theatre Company. Phil recently became an adjunct faculty member at Weber State University, where his original farce, The Door Swings Wide, received a final workshop production this spring. Phil is an Equity Membership Candidate.

Adrianne Moore Adrianne Moore

Dialect Coach - The Foreigner
This is Adrianne’s fourth season with the Old Lyric Repertory Company. Previously she directed Relative Values, The Rivals, and Sylvia as well as serving as company dialect coach. Other professional directing credits in Utah include Peter Pan for The Egyptian Theatre, Miasma for Plan B Theatre, and for the Salt Lake Acting Company her credits include Hold Please and The Water Project (co-director). This summer she will direct The Mikado for the Utah Festival Opera. Adrianne has also worked extensively as a dialect and vocal coach for theatres, including Pioneer Theatre Company, the Salt Lake Acting Company, Utah Contemporary Theatre, the Egyptian Theatre Company, and Tuacahn Theatre. She was dialect coach for the film The Redemption of Sarah Cain. Adrianne teaches voice and directing at Utah State University and has directed numerous productions for Utah State Theatre, including King Lear, The Taming of the Shrew, West Side Story, Anton in Show Business, Hay Fever, Cabaret, and James and the Giant Peach. Adrianne holds a graduate diploma in theatre directing from the British Theatre Association in London and a master's of fine arts in directing from Florida State University. She has taught at FSU, the New Zealand School for the Performing Arts, and the Italia Conti Academy of Dramatic Art in England. A native of New Zealand, Adrianne worked as a director and actor in New Zealand, Australia and England before coming to the United States.

Costume Designer - An Inspector Calls

Amanda Profaizer returns for her ninth OLRC season. Amanda received her master's of fine arts in costume design from Utah State University in 2006. She is currently the costume shop manager for the Department of Theatre Arts at Utah State University. Her previous OLRC credits include The Murder Room, Relative Values, Chaps!, Death Trap, and Stones in His Pockets. She has also designed for the Utah Festival Opera and The Grad Theater. She has worked for Utah Shakespearean Festival and the Pioneer Theater Company, as well as serving as a design assistant for Saturday Night Live where she once ran over Tom Hanks while doing a quick change for SNL. When she is not designing or supervising a production, she is chasing after her 2-year-old daughter, Ruby, and most likely eating doughnuts or drinking Pepsi.

Shaina is a student at Utah State University and works with Caine School of the Arts Production Services. This is her second year with OLRC. She worked as an assistant stage manager for A Christmas Carol and as a stage manager for Doubt, both produced through Utah State Theatre. She worked as an assistant stage manager for OLRC's productions of Chaps!, Deathtrap, and Beau Jest as well as stage-managing the add-on show Stones in His Pocket. She enjoyed working in the company last summer and looks forward to this season.

Jennifer Lyn Stapley is working on her graduate degree at Utah State University after receiving her bachelor's in theatre design from the University of Utah. She has worked professionally with the Egyptian Theatre in Park City as well as the Hale Centre Theatre in West Valley City. Her work as a set designer, costume designer, props designer, and a scenic artist has been seen throughout Utah. She lived and worked in London and Paris for a year and enjoys acting as a hobby. She also studied opera at the University of Utah. Jennifer is getting married in August and is accepting good wishes and donations. This is Jennifer's first year with Old Lyric Repertory Company.

Felicia Stehmeier is very excited to participate in her first season of OLRC. Some of her favorite past roles include Judith Bliss (Hay Fever), Sister Aloysius (Doubt), Little Becky (Urinetown), Marion (Absurd Person Singular), Paulina (A Winter's Tale), Adelaide (Guys and Dolls), Golde (Fiddler on the Roof), and the title role in Madwoman of Chaillot. She has also acted in two films for Brooks and has had the privilege of singing on the Broadway demo for Snow in August (premiering next fall in New York). Felicia is also a singer/songwriter and enjoys painting. She would like to thank everyone involved in OLRC for their wonderful support and for making this summer an amazing experience. She hopes that you enjoy yourself this evening, and invites you to return for each production. All the world's a stage! And please, don't forget to recycle. :)

Matt is returning to the Caine Lyric Theatre for his fourth year with the OLRC. Prior to receiving his master's of fine arts at Boston University, Matt graduated from Snow College and Utah State University. Matt works as the scene shop foreman in the Department of Theatre Arts at Utah State University, where he works hard to help the production aspect of the department become bigger and better. He has worked professionally for the Egyptian Theatre in Park City, and the Pink Gardner Theatre in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Originally from SLC, Matt is married and the proud father of a four-year-old boy and his new baby daughter.

Assistant Stage Manager - The Importance of Being Earnest

Daniel B. Thompson is excited to join OLRC this year. His role credits for OLRC include Schroeder in You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown and David in The Foreigner. In addition to his acting roles, he will also contribute as an assistant stage manager for The Importance of Being Earnest. He has previously worked with the Ellen Eccles Theatre, American Players Theatre, Utah Festival Opera, Eastern Utah Theatre, and Palace Playhouse. Daniel is enjoying his summer with OLRC and would like to thank all those who worked to make the season a success. Special thanks to his family, Grady, Corey, and his excellent friends.

Musical Director - You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown

Edye is thrilled to start her 16th season with OLRC. Edye's work on the Caine Lyric stage includes Route 66, Song of Singapore,Blood Brothers, Beehive, Nunsense, and Forever Plaid. Other notable projects include Little Mary Sunshine, Little Shop of Horrors, and Jacques Brel is Alive and Well and Living in Paris for Utah State Theatre. OLRC audiences may remember her most irreverent turn as the Reverend Mother in 2002's Nunsense. She has also directed for the Utah State Opera, including Too Many Sopranos and Lisbeth.

Choreographer - You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown

This is Stephanie’s fifth season with the OLRC. Her choreographic work for the Lyric includes Forever Plaid, Song of Singapore, Route 66, and Chaps! She has also choreographed for Utah State Theatre, Music Theatre West, Cache Valley Civic Ballet, Cache Regional Theatre, Unicorn Theatre, and the Cache Children’s Choir. Stephanie debuts with the Utah Festival Opera Company this year as choreographer for The Mikado (reprise) and Carmen. And to fulfill a childhood dream (dancing to her Dad’s opera records in the living room), she will perform as a gypsy dancer in Carmen. Stephanie sends love and thanks to her family, who stand by her no matter how crazy life gets.

Dr. Chausible - The Importance of Being Earnest

Fred is looking forward to returning to the OLRC and the Caine Lyric Theatre. This will be his third year as apprentice coordinator/director. He has directed And Then They Came for Me and Shakespeare on Love with the Lyric Apprentice Program. He has also directed Cash on Delivery and Anthony Shaffer's Murderer for Kentucky Repertory Theatre. He will be remembered on the Lyric stage as Nat in I'm Not Rappaport, Dr. Watson in Sherlock's Last Case, and two productions as Uncle George in Cash on Delivery. He has spent five seasons with the Kentucky Repertory Theatre in Horse Cave, Kentucky. At KRT, Fred has been recognized as Dr. Chausible in The Importance of Being Earnest, S.B. O'Donnell in Philadelphia Here I Come, and Pickering in Pygmalion. While at KRT, Fred performed Gloucester in King Lear, Shallow in The Merry Wives of Windsor, Duncan and Seward in Macbeth, as well as Egeus and Snout in A Midsummer Night's Dream. Fred has played Scrooge in A Christmas Carol, not only in Kentucky but with the Old Creamery Theatre in Amana, Iowa, and a national tour with Nebraska Theatre Caravan in Omaha, Nebraska. He has appeared as an Equity Guest Artist as Brady in Inherit the Wind and Pickering in My Fair Lady with the Missoula Children's Theatre in Montana, Oberon in Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream with the University of Louisiana, Monroe, and Headset: A View From the Light Booth with the University of Wyoming. Fred has also appeared with the Mule Barn Theatre in Tarkio, Missouri, in Fiddler on the Roof and 1776. Fred is a proud member of Actors Equity Association, the Union of Professional Actors and Stage Managers in the United States.
